Object has molded white ceramic base; top & bottom edges have threaded posts, nuts & twice bent flat metal connectors; there is a red cylinder attached right & left to top & bottom metal connectors; in center is brown plastic like cap w/finger grips around edges; underside has resinous brown substance poured into 4 connected grooves and 2 isolated squares; grounding wire still attached on front.
White base embossed "Western Electric/U.S.A."
According to donor was having phone problems; repairman took this piece off, said it was an antique & called it a fuse.Collection
