Copy camera set-up; consists of 2 long horizontal metal poles inserted into metal leg pieces on each end; camera obscure arrangement, no lens just a metal disc w/variety of holes (different shapes & size) to control exposure, leather bellows between aperture & film plane control focusing, camera box also set so can advance./retreat from copy work; other end of apparatus has 11-1/2" x 11-1/2" copy table hold clear glass plate, table positions vertically for shooting horizontally for loading & glass holds subject flat & in place; 2 electric lights in front of copy table illuminate work.
Part of 4 pieces of equipment sold as a set to small newspapers to do in-house engraving plates from photos; missing the etcher, the metal printer and the whirler.
