Description

Wax candles of the kind used on christmas trees. There are sixteen candles but they have been melted into one mass. The box is cardboard; is printed with a red ribbon, a sprig of holly, the words: "Christmas Candles." In black printing: "Standard Oil Co. of New York." On bottom of box in pencil: "2 for 1cent" Written in ink on the bottom of the box: "Bought E. Greenwich, R.I. 1945" Box is also marked with the letters "S" and "O" in a circle and "Socony Petroleum Products."
