Book carrier in brown leather; there is a leather handle riveted to a leather covered piece of wood that is 8" long; 2 belt type straps are placed thru open loops on end of handle.
Donor says was used as a book carrier to bring books home from school; could have been used for that and could have some other use as straps appear a little long for stated purpose. Donor did not know history of item except that it had been in her husband's family and he brought it with him when he moved to Shelbyville. Her husband was Floyd Shull.Collection
