Linclon style rocker; natural wood color; caned seat and back; chair is put together in sections and most of fastening done by pegs although a screw is visible in places; back of chair has a slight curve surface to accomodate human back; arm rests curve around and under themselves, probably band saw work; legs are joined by a rocker arm on the underside; 2 round stretchers on the sides; a round stretcher across the back and 1.75" wide slat across the front. According to donor, chair has original cane work and was owned by her grandfather. It was refinished around 1940. Donor's grandfather lived in the Norristown area.Use
