A green rocking chair/recliner combo. Seat and back are wood slats inserted on 2 metal rods. All slats have a grooved surface except for 7 that make up a part of the seat. Front and back legs are in an "X" shape; at bottom of legs rocker arms are attached by means of rivets; each pair of legs joined front and back by 2 turned stretchers and threaded metal rod secured by nuts; underside of back legs have a notched metal device that catches on a 2nd metal rod attached betweet front legs; wood arms attached to cast iron support pieces near front of chair; chair reclines by lifting arm rests which pulls the underside notch clear of rod; adjust angle by which notch secure to rod; donor said chair belonged to her grandfather and he kept it near a sunny window where he could read and sleep; she was always told chair was made in Edinburgh, but no positive proof. Donor's grandfather lived in the Norristown area.Use
