Child's tennis shoe; has blue & white molded rubber outsole, blue canvas upper w/stitched white canvas eyelet tab has added heel grip & cuff; white stitching (decorative) in 3 lines from outsole to eyelet tab. Sewn label on top of tongue reads "Wildcats/by Buster Brown" During 1950's & 1960's tennis shoes or "sneakers" were standard summer equipment for all children. Originally used by donor's grandchild. Subnumbered 1989.015.005 A&B
