Donation, 08/09/1981. Used by Louis H. Grover. Originated: France. Marked on back: "P.R." and "FABRICATION FRANCAISE". Back also inscribed: "FROM YOUR/SWEETHEART/LOUIS" (A) unusual postcard. White card stock with silk embroidery in colors: red, yellow, pink, green, purple. Image is a garland of flowers in 2 baskets. Underneath in purple are words "MY HEART WITH YOU TO NIGHT". Lifting flap of top embroidery reveals an interior pocket with (B) a card, 2 x 2.625", with an oval picture of soldiers near a wall and printed in blue: "ON FIRST LINE A GOOD CHRISTMAS".
