Cigar caseDescription
A. Black leather case to hold the silver cigar case, with the interior lined in pale peach colored satin. There is braiding around the lower edge.
B. Silver cigar case with engraving on top: Christmas, J. T. Murphy, 1880. There is intricate engraving on upper and lower and sides of case and around the writing. On the bottom of the case is also engraving around the perimeter and in the middle which has a floral motif. Note from donor: “Typical of Victorian gentlemen. It has been reclined. Dents attest to daily use. This was a Christmas present from wife Emma Bell O’Neal.”Collection
