Original research paper by Joy Helm. Title page reads: "Costumes Created From Handwoven Fabric/A Research Paper/ Submitted to the Graduate Council/for the degree/Master of Arts in Art/by/Joy C. Helm/Adviser-Dr. Roberta Law/Special Problems in Art ACR 515/Ball State University/Muncie, Indiana/June, 1969." Includes a table of contents, a list of illustrations, photographs of finished garments and a bibliography. The project garments were given to and worn by June Spears, sister of the creator. (Manuscript was brought to the Museum by David Finkel who asked that it be placed into the collection with the garments that had been donated by June Spears just prior to her death.)
