She is sitting square to camera & looking into the lens. Hair is pulled behind her ears & done in sort of high crown on top w/ 2 small curls in front. Dark dress has large leg-o-mutton sleeves. High collar of dot print & matching bow in back. Same dot material used for a panel on bosom. Some sort of lacework visible over shoulders and at waist. Image slightly lower than surface mount. Inscribed on back: "Mrs. O. W. Cotton/Ed Inman/S.S. Teacher"Collection
