shop bill; upper left corner has woodcut on woman's high button shoe; and wording across center "Bought of J. M. Potter, Manufacturer & Dealer in Boots and Shoes, 152 W. Fifth St. Bet. Race and Elm" bill is dated Sept. 25, 1883 and made out to Miss Jennie Wray and it is for making white satin slippers priced at $3.75. left side where lines start is printed" "Macbriar & Sons, Print., Cin. O". Shoes were worn as wedding shoes in October, 1883 when Jennie Wray married J. G. DePrez. Physical Characteristics: Paper has yellowed, creased where folded, one crease line has 3 holes in it.
