Donation, 05/02/1984. Used by: John Erwin Chadwick. Maker: Strobridge Lith. Co., Cincinnati, OH. Originated: Shelby County White parchment with black printing stating that the Cincinnati College of Dental Surgery has conferred upon John Erwin Chadwick the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. It has an embossed seal of green paper located at center of bottom. Frame is plain black wood and appears to be a little large for the diploma. Bottom of document is printed: "The Strobridge Lith. Wood frame marred around the edges. Parchment has a lot of wrinkles and appears to have caused the green seal to become loose. Everything dismantled and cleaned 04/22/1984 and acid-free tissue paper placed between the diploma and new cardboard back.
