Documents is entitled, "Brief of laws and joint resolutions concerning the MIchigan Road from 1828 to 1850." This packet is folded into thirds. Packet contains 5 pages of legal information pertaining to Michigan Rd written in blue ink and some red ink printed on the left margin. When opened up, their is a date hand written across the top edge of the page (card stock material) 3-6-29. on the back of the packet, "Mich Road Abst." is hand written in black marker. Packet is noticeably aged but is still intacted. Inside back cover contains and advertistment for the L.M. Brown Abstract Co. of Indianapolis. then contains a section with a place that says, "Abstract of TItle to.." with lines and then, "prepared for..." and another line. With another L.M. Brown Abstract Co. ad underneath all of that.
The writing on the inside of the packet talks about laws and stipulations that allow the state to cut out or widen Michigan Rd. all the way through the state and includes the names and duties of the state commisioners at the time.
