Baby doll, has molded brown hair and brown sleep-eyes; eyebrows and lower eyelashes painted on,upper eye lashes glued to eyelids; arms, legs & head are moveable; wearing green bonnet, green dress and green undergarment; piece of jewelry pinned to dress consists of a bar with a metal disc hanging from bar,disc is engraved "Cecile"; clothing is original. Back fo head has raised lettering, reads "ALEXANDER" Used by Janet Joesten Doll is replica of one of Dionne Quintuplets born in Canada in 1930's; quints were taken from parents and commercially exploited. Donor believes she got the doll sometime between Oct. 1934 and Oct. 1938.
