Though not easily seen, the blind-stamped decorations depict two emblems / crests. On the left-hand side, a peacock stands perched above a crest. On the right-hand side, a boar's head sits above a crest containing an X that crosses through a diamond shape at the center. The author's name is also black-stamped at the bottom of the front cover.
