Donation, Spring, 1987. Paper. Charcoal and pencil drawing of a man. Seated at an angle to viewer. Has long dark hair parted on left, combed to right and behind ear. Hair curls behind ear. Long handlebar mustache that hides mouth. Right arm resting on side of chair. Left hand in lap. Perspective of hands is that they appear to be too large for body. Wearing dark suit. Appears to be a pedestal table to subject's right. Donor knows that this was one of her Shelby County ancestors but is not sure whom.
