Gowns made for and worn by Francis Eugene Gray, born and raised in Shelbyville. He was a Major in the US Army, lived and worked in Indianapolis area most of his married life. He died in 1974 and is buried in Brownsburg, Indiana, along with his wife, Norma (Booher) Gray. Item was made either Lydia or Linda Gray on the sewing machine they used at their seamstress shop in Shelbyville.
