Device made of a tapered flexible tube covered w/fabric; each end of tube terminates with a plastic piece; more narrow end is curved or hook shaped & tip similar to pipe stem; other plastic piece is bell shaped and has smallest section attached to tube; everything is dark nondescript colors.
Used as hearing aid by hearing impaired; smaller end fit in ear and other person spoke into tube; donor remembers Winslow using device and did work in early stages but in last years was too deaf to aid.Collection
