Two paper items: A - Postcard-size notice to Henry L. Smith, RR #5, to appear for a physical examination on Friday, May 22, 1942 at Inlow Clinic. Examination was carried out by Dr. W. D. Inlow. Failure to appear for the exam would have resulted in Smith’s imprisonment, fine, or loss of position in military services. The notice was issued on May 18 B - Yellow card with instructions for after a military servant is discharged. Previous employers should be contacted within 90 days of discharge if the veteran’s pr-military job is desired.Collection
