Black & white image of horse drawn fire fighting equipment; vehicle has high seat for driver; fire hose visible in back of wagon and attached to side is a snorkel and below snorkel is intake valve that can be fed by three lines; at back of wagon are 2 uprights that end in urn shaped finials and a cross piece between the finials; appears to be some kind of platform below wagon bed behind back wheels and there is a hand rail from platform to front of wagon; there is a lantern and tool box near driver; pulled by team of dark horses; background is brick building signed "H.C. Sorden's Livery" also sign advertising "Marmon Cars" street looks bricked but wagon positioned in dirt between interurban trucks.
One of 4 prints mounted on piece of pasteboard; but mount was weak and broken in several places; removed print to conserve it see also 1986.024.024, 026 & 027.
