Black and white photographic print on gray cardboard mount. Image is of a slender old man on left end of porch, wearing dark 3-piece suit, has long white beard, holding a book in left hand. To his left is a melodeon, a piano stool and a wood chair. Behind his legs are two wood chairs. Also visible on porch, hanging on lattice work behind melodeon, is a framed object that appears to read "STUDY", also a school-style clock and a framed photograph. Between lattice work is a shuttered door. House is clapboard-sided with a wood shingle roof and has elements of Greek Revival; upper right corner of print dominated by summer foliage of a tree. Inscribed in ink across bottom front of image is: "Dr. Fitch at his home in Morristown". Inscribed in ink on back of mount: "Dr. Oscar F. Fitch as he appeared (?)/at one of the school reunions/using the same melodeon, clock and/study card that he had used in his/school room when I attended his school/Florence Rock."
