Description

Obstetrical Forceps in two parts; left-hand part has metal button shaft, right-hand section notched to fit shaft. Each handle has black girps which are attached by 3 screws; opposite end is twice curved; curved ends are wider & have elliptical openings. Mark: stamped on top of one of the pieces "M?ncher /& Son". Used in delivery of babies; grasped baby's head & assisted in removing baby from birth canal.
