Description

Device is shaped something like a sword, one end is pointed and the area shaped like a blade ends in an area that resembles a cross hilt guard but what would be the handle is a ring shape; ;the ring is attached to a piece of metal that wxtends between the 2 pieces of iron that make the blade, when the tool is activated the ring part drops to the 'hilt' and two curved pieces stick out of the bottom near the point. Special Function: Used for lifting loose hay from a wagon into the hay mow of a barn; whole tool lowered from mow into hay wagon and when tripped the crived prongs would in theory lift hay from the wagon.
