Frizzer GuardDescription
Long piece of metal with a wide long slot on one side and a short slot on the other with a slit in one end to hold rachet teeth anda guard piece that fastens to the machine. There is a groove in the end of one piece to fit around a bolt to secure it. There are four different size rachet pieces held in place by a bolt and wing nut.
The frizzer machine was the most dangerous machine used in furniture making. Factory owners came to Jimmie Vandegrift to make a guard to protect workers' fingers. This is the resultCollection
