doll cradle; painted blue, but some green paint showing through chips; rests on 2 rocker arms which cross the width of the cradle, one is near the head and the other is near the foot; side boards are 3-1/8" high for a distance of 12-3/8" from the foot, then they increase in height to 5-1/4"; foot and head boards are tapered so that they are wider at top than bottom and this makes the sides slant in towards the bottom; butt jointed and held together with nails.
underside has either been wood burned or carved and stained with ink; 2 sets of markings on underside, one is "E.A.S." other is "1884"
