One of several items of memorabilia from the Fountaintown Tuesday Club. A gavel made of walnut; handle s approximately 8" long and thicker at butt than at head; the head has two flat striking faces one on each side and indentical turnings between faces; behind face there is a groove witha flairing inner edge thaen an abrupt bead followed by barrell shaped main body and pattern reverses to opposit face. Handle is smooth turned.Collection
