One end of object is shaped like a trident, has 3 points w/2 outside points having only 1 barb that comes to the inside; center point hs 2 barbs; opposite end is a flared tube that has a hole drilled in one side; this was to accomodate and secure handle for spear fishing. Ira Isley was blacksmith at Mt. Auburn. IN and according to donor he made this item. See also Neg. N-689
