GorgetDescription
George Jordan was an early Shelby County collector and amatuer archaeologist. Adenba Bi-concave gorget, gray smooth and polished. Sides are concave, ends are convex. Two holes drilled 1" apart in the middle. Holes are 1/4" on one side and 1/8" on other. Ends are a little thinner than middle. In 2000, Teresa Putty, Paleontologist, dated this artifact as Woodland Period, 1000 BC-AD 800.
