2 olive green musette bags; both stenciled "U.S." on front flap; slightly different closures on webbing straps of front flap; side pockets on both, one secures w/snap and other w/button; pouch on backside of each bag, one secured w/snap, other w/button; cloth divider inside bag creates 2 compartments & there are 2 pouches in divider; also canvas loop about 3" long sewn at top of backwall inside compartment; one has single shoulder strap, other has complex array of straps. Used to carry necessities, worn slung over shoulders w/strap crossing chest. Used by John R. McCrea 1919-1981 Subnumbered 1988.024.027 A&B
