Child's wool hood; hood is 8" long, collar 4" wide & 24" long; it is light blue in color and has chain stitch design on back and around edge of collar, there is black trim under the stitching; small ruching around front and buttons; lined w/natural color flannel; inside has bound seams; blue stitching on inside, white on outside; front of hood is small gathered piece of blue cloth that doesn't quite match; handmade except for chain stitch. Worn by Mary Hill Scheffler as a baby; suspect made by her mother; donor was MHS's daughter.
