Device made of 5 pieces of wood, 1 threaded bolt, a washer and wing nut; 1 piece of wood is bent in oval shape & where ends meet they are nailed into a block of wood 5-1/4" x 1" x 1-1/2"; this piece fits within a slightly larger wood oval, the ends of this oval do not meet but are nailed to separate wood blocks 2-7/16" x 1" x 1"; hole drilled in these 2 blocks hold the bolt, by tightening the wing nut holds 2 oval sections together; hole drilled one side of larger wood block.
Oval mark stenciled on wood reads "A Product of The Gibbs Mfg. Co., Canton, OH. Made in USA"
Putting sheet of fabric between two ovals, stretching & then tightening can clamp fabric in place for needlework project.Collection
