Description

Wood hobby horse; made from at least 6 pieces of wood, covered w/textured gray surface; leather saddle & bridle, stamped metal discs decorate bridle; metal discs for eyes, leather flap for ear; remnant of horse hair tail; bolted to 2 bentwood pieces on underside; bent wood pieces secured to metal brackets attached to "U" rods; the rods are bolted to the uprights on a wood frame consisting of 4 uprights, 2 long peices at base & 3 stretchers; wood frame is red high lighted w/gold stencil work. Used by Ralph Hudson 1906-1979
