Leather wrist band, kind of yellow color; has 3 buckles to which 2 strap 5" and one strap 10" long secure, short straps are located almost opposite to their respective buckles, but the long strap sits at about a 90 degree angle to its buckle; straps and buckles secured by rivets; 2 metal plates also secured by rivets; one plate overlaps the other and top plate terminates in a hook shape.
Printed on the leather is "'BOSS' HUSKERS/Manufactured By/THE BOSS MFG. CO./KEWANEE, ILLINOIS"
Worn on the hand to shuck ear corn; leather protected hand from sharp edged of dried corn husks and the hook ripped the hust open.Collection
