Cardboard box with breast pump inside. Made of black hard rubber with glass receptacle at top portion. Pump action is at bottom portion. Labeled on lid reads India Rubber Breast Pump, American Hard Rubber Co.

by Dr. William Austin Schooley, M.D. (1865-1934).

Context

Dr. Schooley practiced medicine in Geneva, IN from 1888-1903. He then practiced in Waldron until 1918. He was a soldier in World War I and died in Shelbyville in 1934.
