George Jordan was an early Shelby County collector and amatuer archaeologist. Adena bi-concave gorget. Gray, dide concave and ends convex. Two holes 5/8" apart go through the middle of piece. Middle is thicker and ends, one thicker than other. In 2000, Teresa Putty, Paleontologist, dated this artifact as Woodland Period, 1000 BC-AD 800.
