George Jordan was an early Shelby County collector and amatuer archaeologist. Early axe - full groove, dark blackish gray on one side and is convex in shape. Slopes down at ends and is rounding on the other side. It seem to have been polished by not smoothed. Other side is fairly flat and sloped at one end. Has a irregular surface, slopes at one end and flat at other. Single edge, groove around axe 3/8" wide and 1/8" deep.Collection
