George Jordan was an early Shelby County collector and amatuer archaeologist. Lizard Effigy stone, slat colored and darker gray lines that are circular on the convex side and straight across on the flat side. There is a groove 4" from the bottom, groove is 1/4" dwide and slightly indented, above groove is 3/4" across and 5/8" in length.
