George Jordan was an early Shelby County collector and amatuer archaeologist. Glacial Kame and Adens Three Hole Gorget. Slate gray in color, one side slightly darker; rectangualr convex on one side and flat on the other. Sides and ends are flat. Two of the three drilled holes are 1/2" apart and the third is 1" from the second hold. Smooth and polished. In 2000, Teresa Putty, Paleontologist, dated this artifact as Woodland Period, 1000 BC-AD 800.Collection
