George Jordan was an early Shelby County collector and amatuer archaeologist. Two hole salvaged gorget, dark gray in color; medium gray with light gray splotches on other side with a 'glue' mark from being on a board. Teardrop in shape with flat sides and rounding ends. It is smooth and polished. In 2000, Teresa Putty, Paleontologist, dated this artifact as Woodland Period, 1000 BC-AD 800.Collection
