George Jordan was an early Shelby County collector and amatuer archaeologist. Two hole gorge, slate color, 1 5/8" at top and rounds down to 1/2" at the bottom. Two drilled holes 1 1/2" apart and 1/8" from the top. Smooth and polished. In 2000, Teresa Putty, Paleontologist, dated this artifact as Woodland Period, 1000 BC-AD 800.Collection
