George Jordan was an early Shelby County collector and amatuer archaeologist. Bell Pestle, tannish gray in color, top is more solid in color than bottom. Almost straingt down, after starting at almost a point to gently flare to the bottom. Bottom is flat and flares to the edges. Unpolished. In 2000, Teresa Putty, Paleontologist, dated this artifact as Woodland Period, 1000 BC-AD 800.Collection
