George Jordan was an early Shelby County collector and amatuer archaeologist. Archaic Hand Axe, light gray with brown specks. An edged tool; shape has been formed by pressure flaking. 1 7/8" on one side and slopes down to a sharp edge at the other side. Flat side is 1" thick and also slopes to an edge. Has yellowish markings on three sides. Smooth.Collection
