Description

Black & white; large brick structure, has 7 small windows just above ground level & 8 large arched windows higher on wall; there may be a doorway under window on far left side; corbelling just under roof parapet; large chimney or smokestack on right side; several utility poles & lines visible; one pole near center has a man working at the top of it, there is another man on the ground looking up at the first man. used by R.M. Jewell From donor's larger slide collection has file number "10900" printed on it; inscription on mount identifies as the old interurban powerhouse in Rushville. Source proposed Extension of the I & C Line from Rushville to Cincinnati, by Bion J. Arnold 1914.
