Iron consists of a 4" cylindrical wooden handle into one end is attached a metal rod approx. 6 1/2" long, attached near the handle on the rod is a curved metal piece which runs the length of the metal rod; the curved piece is operated by a thumb pad; at other end of handle is a removable cord with a green textile covering which ends with a two pronged plug. Stamped on metal iron: Landers Frary & Clark New Brittain Conn. USA. Patent dates listed: Aug 4, 1914 and Feb 6, 1906; one other date is illegible.
