Tool for unknown purposes made in 2 parts; one part is metal loop which pivots in a "U" shaped slot on 2nd piece; the 2nd piece is 4-3/8" long x 3/4" wide, it has a 1/4" wide slot in the center in which a point slides back & forth, far end of 2nd piece terminates in a bent point.
Stamped in metal is "4 in 1 patented/Sep 13, 1910/ J.C. Forster & Son/Pittsburgh, Pa"
May have been used by Horatio Davis, a Morristown School teacher, but no documentation.Collection
