Black and white photographic print of 3 men standing outside; man on left wearing cap and has long sleeve shirt rolled up to the elbows, has right hand on hip; other 2 men wearing broad brimmed hats; one is sitting down and has back to camera; 3rd man has wire-rim glasses and appears to be talking to seated man and gesturing with left arm; next to seated man are squared timbers and on top of one timber is an open box that has a chart in the lid. According to donor, this picture was taken in 1948 with a c.1912 Brownie box camera by Mrs. J. T. Murphy. Donor also identified the scene as a soil test for Horace Davitt's Justemere Farm near Prescott. The men are identified as Horace Davitt with back to camera, J. T. Murphy facing camera, and the man to the left is unknown. Donation, 11/13/1983.
