A keg with a board bottom 10 staves; barrel hoops are split and bent pieces of wood; there is a hoop at the top, one at bottom and two more in between; nails have been driven through hoops and into staves; nails were also used to hold the bottom in place.
Bottom appears to be stenciled with black paint in fancy lettering resembling old German script. There is a "A" and "F Kramer"Collection
