Black and white cabinet photo on a reddish-brown mount. Image is of a man in lodge uniform, old-style naval officer hat with ostrich plume on top, long dark coat, dark pants, dark shoes. Wide sash slanted across chest has medallion with cross at center front. Scabbard hanging from left side. Sword tip resting on floor, hilt in man's right hand. White gloves with gauntlets have crosses on gauntlets. Belt at waist has medallion with cross. At bottom of mount in gold printing: "Goodrich/Exchange Block,/Shelbyville, Ind." Photo found loose in photo album #83.81.47. May be Dr. William Trevitt Knapp. (May also be Horace Trevitt Knapp as an adult?)
