Knife from Army mess kit (probable WWI) a 5 1/2" blade with 3 3/4" handle; blade is 7/8" wide and graduates to point. Handle is 5/9" wide and is concave with ridge edging and rounded end; made from one piece of metal Marks: U S on blade.
